Jude 1:24-25

²⁴Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy, ²⁵to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen.

This devotional concludes with a benediction from the previous letter of Jude. It is my prayer for you. If this devotional has benefited your relationship with Jesus, pass it on to others or encourage them to read it online. Decide what you will do each day to keep your mind renewed by the Word of God.

You can't keep yourself. Only the Great Shepherd can keep you, and He will. If you look to Him, He will keep you from stumbling and present you blameless before the presence of His glory with great joy. On that day, you will not cower in His awesome presence, for you will see clearly that your sins are completely covered by His sacrifice for you. You will see nothing but total acceptance and love in Jesus' eyes. That will certainly be great joy. His work in you will be complete, and you will never again struggle with sin.

Jude ends his letter with words of praise that sound like the heavenly declaration in a previous devotion from Revelation (see 12/29). He is declaring the fact that honor, glory, majesty, dominion, and authority belong to God the Father and the Son throughout eternity. Notice the way Jude speaks of eternity: "before all time, and now, and forever." To resist this obvious reality is futile. To accept and embrace it is life!

Conclusion: In light of this truth, we would be foolish to focus our life on anything other than the Lord and His Word. God bless you, dear reader, as you walk with Him. I look forward to seeing you when we joyfully stand together in His glorious presence.
